How to use Daily Log:
  • When you first launch Daily Log
    • You will need to create a new job. This brings up the Job Screen.
    • This job will be saved the next time that Daily Logs runs.
  • Main Menu
    • Continue Job
      • You will always be able to continue the last job that was saved.
      • We are considering adding the possibility to keep track of multiple jobs. Request it to make it more of a priority!
    • New Job
      • This will bring you to the Job screen.
      • Your new Job will not be saved until you hit the Done Button
  • Job Screen
    • There are several fields to fill in.
    • City and State will be used to determine the day's weather conditions.
    • Email fields are only stored in the program to be used for personal email.
    • Job data will be saved when Done is clicked.
    • An alert can be set to bring up a notification for when to send the daily log.
    • Fields can be edited later.

  • Main Screen(Pdf Preview)
    • Display
      • The date and day will automatically be updated.
      • Zooming and panning work like any other iPhone application.
      • Clicking on a section will highlight the section and bring up show applicable buttons.
    • Email Button
      • Clicking Email will bring up the standard mail composer.
      • To and Cc fields will be filled in if they were stored in job data.
      • The Main Screen pdf will automatically be attached to the email.
      • Any information entered into the sections will be saved at this point.
    • Prev Button
      • Clicking Prev will bring up the last saved data for the section.
      • After loading previous data, you are still able to edit it.
      • This button does not show up for the Job Section since job data does not change daily.
    • Edit Button
      • Clicking Edit will bring up the editing screen.
      • Clicking Add will add an additional line up to the maximum lines for the section
      • Clicking X will remove the line, or clear the line if it is the last.
      • Click Done to return to the Main Screen.
